Right now, one of our 12th grade students, Mai, is living and studying in Russia. She goes to a Russian ballet academy. She left Japan at the end of January. So far she has been enjoying life. She is living in a dorm in Novosibirsk. Novosibirsk is a city in Siberia. It's very, very cold. Recently it has been -38˚C. Can you imagine that?!
今、高校3年生のマイはロシアで勉強しています。彼女はロシアのバレエ団にいっています。彼女は1月を最後に日本を発ちました。今日まで彼女は楽しい生活を送っています。彼女はノボシビルスクに住んでいます。ノボシビルスクはシベリアにあって、とても寒く最近では -38℃ でした。想像できますか⁉︎
Mai said that the food is really delicious. The bread and cheese is amazing. Actually, she said that these foods are her enemies - she can't stop eating them! They do look delicious, don't they?
マイは食事は本当に美味しく、パンとチーズは素晴らしいと言っていました。食べるのが止まらないので食べ物は敵だと言っていました。
Although Mai is very far from her friends and family she is enjoying life. She is practising ballet every day. She is also using her English and studying Russian. She also has some time for sightseeing. The photos she has shared with us are really beautiful!
マイは友達と家族と離れて、毎日バレエの練習をして楽しい生活を送っています。彼女は英語を使ってロシア語を勉強しています。彼女は観光をして、素晴らしい写真を私たちに共有してくれます。
