A Rainy Sunday in Asakusa（雨の日曜日　浅草にて）

Last Sunday, I went with my friend to Asakusa and it was so much fun. First, we ate some udon close to Senso-ji Temple. It was delicious, and I hope that I can go back there again soon.

After eating lunch, we walked through the temple. The smell of incense made me feel very relaxed, and I really enjoyed the  beautiful architecture. I have been to Senso-ji many times, but I always find something new to see. This time, I found a beautiful waterfall.

After walking around Senso-ji, my friend and I went to a small place that we had seen on TV awhile back. In the store they had a bunch of games, one of which was called Smart Ball. The machines were very old. The woman working there told us that the machines were made in the 1950s and were 65 years old! I had a really great time playing the game!

In short, you can have a great Sunday in Asakusa, even when it’s raining.

この前の日曜日、私は友達と浅草に行きました。とても楽しかったです。まず、私たちは浅草寺の近くで、うどんを食べました。とても美味しく、私はここにまた来たいと思いました。
昼ごはんを食べた後、私たちはお寺の周りを歩きました。お香の香りは私をとても癒してくれましたし、美しい建物を見るのも楽しかったです。私は浅草寺に何回か来たことがありますが、必ず見たことがないものを見つけます。今回は綺麗な滝を見つけました。
浅草寺を歩いた後、私たちは最近テレビで見た小さな所に足を運びました。そこはたくさんのゲームがあるお店でした。その中の一つはスマートボールというゲームでした。ゲームの機械はとても古かったです。お店のおばさんはその機械が50年代に作られて今は65歳であることを教えてくれました。ゲームをしている時間、私はとても楽しい時間を過ごしました。
つまり、雨が降っていたとしても、楽しい日曜日を過ごせるのです。
