Recently, a number of Friends School students who have studied abroad have spoken in morning worship. Two students were in Australia and one was in Chile. It was really interesting to hear about their experiences and see their pictures.

One student talked about seeing the stars on the beach in Australia. Since I love the stars in my hometown and since we can't see many stars in Tokyo, that image was impressive to me. One student said that she learned how important it is to make mistakes. The only way to learn a language is to make lots of mistakes!

I have never been to either of those countries, so I felt like I learned something new from listening to their speeches, and I hope that all the students who listened felt the same way.
Translated by S.T 中3
