The school year has just started and I'm super excited to meet all my new students and to see my old students!
新学期が始まったばかりで、私は新入生に会う事、そして在学生に会う事をとーっても楽しみにしています！
My dad just left Japan to go back to America. He was here for 9 days. We went to a lot of places, including Ueno Park, The Edo Tokyo Museum, Nara, Osaka's Museum of Ethnology, and Kyoto.
先日、私の父がアメリカに帰りました。父は日本に９日間滞在しました。私と父は、上野公園や江戸東博物館、奈良、大阪にある民族学の博物館、そして京都に行きました。
My favorite place was Nara. I loved the deer! They are so cute! It was really fun feeding them shikasenbei. A bunch of them bit my pants and butted my butt! It was kind of painful but really funny.
私は奈良が一番好きです。鹿が大好きです。鹿は本当に可愛いです。しかせんべいをあげるのが本当に楽しかったです。鹿の何匹かは私のズボンにかみついたり、お尻を角で突いてきました！それは痛かったけれど、本当に楽しかったです
In Nara, my dad and I went up to Kasuga Shrine after we visited Todai-ji. It was raining a little bit and we sat down and just listened to the rain for a while. That's one of my favorite things to do. It's always so peaceful and the rain smells so nice.
奈良では父と私は春日神社に登った後、東大寺を訪ずれました。雨が少し降っていたので、私達は座って少しの間雨の音を聞いていました。それは私のお気に入りの時間です。その時間はいつも平和で、雨はとってもいい香りです。
On my dad's last day he came in to Friends School. We hung out with Mr. Stifler, Ms. O’Connor, and Mr. Milligan. We talked and played music together. It was a nice way to spend our last day together.
父が日本に滞在する最後の日、父は普連土学園に来ました。私と父はスティフラー先生と、オコーナ先生と、ミリガン先生と会いました。私達は話したり、一緒に音楽を演奏したりしました。それは父と一緒に日本で最後の時を過ごすのにとても良い方法でした。
I loved having my dad here, and I miss him now a lot.
